Chicano

Also known as Mexican/American gangster.

Chicano art originated in the East Los Angeles Mexican/American communities in the 1940's

Most common designs of the chicano theme usually consist of Clown girls also known as Payasa, Dia De Los Muertos (day of the dead) as well as mixed with some religious designs. This was a way to express identity as well as solidarity among gang members.
